Our history

Robomop has a long-standing history in the field of automated cleaning. The journey began in 2000 with the development of the original patent, starting with a wooden prototype that set the foundation for the brand's innovation. Over the years, through continuous engineering and refinement, Robomop evolved through seven generations of products, culminating in the current ALLEGRO and TINAN series, which represent the pinnacle of our technology and design.


Some examples of our earlier models include the ROBOMOP BASIC, SOFTBASE, HANDBALL, and FLOORDUSTER, each marking an important step in our evolution. Originally developed in Norway, Robomop was acquired in 2018 by TBH, an Italian company that gained full rights to the brand and its technology. Andrea Tassoni, an engineer and co-founder of Robomop International, played a pivotal role in this transition and now serves as the CEO, overseeing Robomop’s operations under TBH.
